We are currently accepting applications for the following positions:
In-home caregiver (non-medical)
Responsibilities include assisting with meal preparation/diet maintenance, light housekeeping, essential shopping/errands, assisting with self-administered medication and personal care tasks such as bathing and dressing as needed.
The caregiver must observe the client’s condition and report to the supervisor, as outlined in the person-centered plan of care.
A background in healthcare is not necessarily required; we will train a caregiver who is meticulous, reliable, and adaptable, with a passion for helping the senior members of our community. As this role requires forming a close relationship with the client, we are only considering candidates who can fill this position long-term.
Although this is a non-medical role, we will run a mandatory Illinois State healthcare worker background check.
Starting pay is $15/hr. Must be able and willing to drive. Minimum high school diploma, citizenship or permanent residency required.
